According to Tim Miller, Misty Croslin cried after hearing that she failed the test and then pleaded to take the voice analysis and undergo hypnosis, which she ultimately failed. When the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office got word that Misty had volunteered for these tests, they subpoenaed the results.Major Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department stated that he wasn’t surprised by the results. He said, “I agree with the point that was made by Tim Miller’s investigator, which is that Misty’s consistency is inconsistency.”

In a phone interview last week with Gainesville, Florida-based Sky97.3 FM talk radio news director and HLN contributor TJ Hart, Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller said that in a meeting with attorney Mark NeJame, Ronald Cummings told him he believes his then-girlfriend and current wife, Misty Croslin-Cummings, was involved with Haleigh’s disappearance, and he also cast doubt on other elements of Misty’s account of that evening.
Miller stated, “When Mark [NeJame] and I had Ronald in an office, just the three of us . . . Mark [told] Ronald, ‘I need more information on this before I can consider representing anybody,’ and Ronald Cummings said, ‘The b**** had something to do with my daughter’s disappearance.’ And he said that she never made the bed that night; she’d been awake all night, she never went to sleep. They did not have any laundry detergent, so she never washed clothes (the only clothes in the dryer was dirty clothes), and Ronald Cummings himself told me he felt as though Misty was having sex with somebody in his house, and little Haleigh woke up and said, ‘I’m telling Daddy.’ This came out of Ronald Cummings’ mouth. The question was asked, ‘Why did you marry Misty?’ His words were, ‘You keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.’”
When Hart mentioned to Miller that private investigator William “Cobra” Staubs, who had been working the Cummings case, also told him that Ronald had said the exact same thing to him when similarly queried, Miller replied, “I don't have anything to lie about.”

Ron knew misty was fooling around but if we look at it this way,he will keep her close to the pocket for imformation on Haleigh
Ron and Misty initially were both onboard.
Misty got cold feet, but was urged at vigil for Haleigh by others there to do it.
They were about to get the re-enactment underway when Misty balked again.
Misty said she didn’t remember things - didn’t want to do it at all and got angry
Ron got angry at Misty - talked about it with Cobra at Memaw’s over some sweet tea.
Cobra told Ron about “Greg” - a young African American male with whom Misty was rumored to have been having sex
Cobra said Ron confirmed that he knew all about “Greg”
Cobra asked Ron why he married Misty anyway
Ron replied that “she is the only tie he has to Haleigh and that he will keep her until Haleigh returns”
I feel for this man,here he trusted his kids in the care of a junkie{big mistake} and his daughter goes missing,simple,Misty is a liar and it will be prooves, art harris said on geraldo last night{9/24/09 that an arrest is coming within thenext week or so,could misty bolt as she has alreayd done down to orlando,fl with a friend due to a fight with ron?Art said"ron dosen't wnat naything to do with her"can it be possible ron knows and feels in his heart a person he trusted could of done something this horrible to his daughter and a divorce is looming,we'll have to wait and see.
Personal note,
Ron loves his kids even if reports that said he was mean towards then,nothing was ever found to be true.This is a father missing his child who cries alone at night and holds onto hope everyday.Pray for Haleigh to be found soon.God Bless.
